Hello Friends!
It was a very good trip into Ukraine last week without too much trouble at the border crossings... the customs office and a few trucks were hit by bombs two times last month and it was a little creepy waiting there for a couple hours for my load to be approved...

The church in Reni was so appreciative to receive the much needed supplies, and it felt great to drive away with an empty van and empty wallet!
At the Center in Rasa, the programs and meetings make for a very busy place! Here's a glimpse of what goes on around here during a typical week:
On Mondays, the neighbourhood ladies come together for a time of crocheting and knitting;
on Tuesdays, we deliver food and firewood to many families in need;
on Wednesdays, the neighbourhood children arrive for bible study, crafts, and school homework;
on Thursdays, the widows and ladies gather together for bible study, fellowship and crafts;
on Fridays, the youth group gather at the Center for bible study, food, and fun;
on Saturdays, there's always work to do around the Center;
and on Sundays, we fellowship with others and rest!
A few weeks ago we were at a conference where we gathered with other missionaries from around Europe. We were encouraged, prayed for, and blessed in many ways. It really was a "Time of Refreshing".
The work of helping those in Romania and Ukraine continues steadily on, and your prayers and financial support are greatly appreciated! Please continue to pray for good health and strength for us both.
