Hi Friends,
As the war continues on in Ukraine, we are continually so grateful for your prayers and support. You are making a huge impact on families' lives in both Ukraine and in Romania. This week there have been some exciting answers to prayer!
Reinhard took another successful trip over the border into Ukraine last Wednesday, bringing in food and medicine.
On his way back, he was able to bring back another mother and child, as well as a young lady named Lida who will be the translator at the Center for a while! She is an answer to our prayers!
With more people living in the Rasa Center, they've needed to purchase a second hot water tank, and a second washing machine. With your help, that has been possible!
Now that they have a translator at the Center, they are finally able to connect in more ways with the Ukrainians. Darcey says: "Today at the Rasa Family Center we had our first church service with our Ukrainian friends. It was so exciting to welcome our friend Lida from Ukraine to be our translator for the next while. She does an amazing job - just what we prayed for! We had a time of worship in Ukrainian, and then Reinhard and I shared about God's love with these precious people. Reinhard was able to speak about how his dad was born in Ukraine and had to flee with his family when he was 10 years old. He was a refugee, and understands what these people are going through. The women had many tears as we shared how God loves and cares for them and their families back in Ukraine. They prayed the Lord's Prayer, and we were able to pray for them as well. They were so emotionally broken and tender, and we pray that God will work in their lives while they are here in Romania. We received a lot of hugs and kisses, and they showed appreciation for us allowing them to be here."
