With everything going on in Ukraine, a lot of us feel like we would like to do something to help, but feel at a loss as to how to do that, so far away. Mom and Dad in Romania have been praying about what they can be doing to help, and it turns out – they have a lot they can do! But they can not do it alone.

Dad messaged us the other day saying, “On Wednesday morning I woke up at 4:00 am and felt the Lord saying "refugee" in my head. By 06:00 the invasion started and I knew we were supposed to open our Center as a refuge to those that will need a place soon....By supper time we had heard of several families from churches in Ukraine looking for help, then 30 orphans that need a place, then some students that need a place, and many more, so I'm sure it won't be long before we have visitors.” Romania borders with Ukraine, and there are many Ukrainians fleeing and needing help and shelter. Dad has been planning a convoy of vans and trucks that will head over to the border to pick up refugees and bring them to their area of Romania.

As they prepare to fill up the Center with people, Mom and Dad are going to need to feed them all, and prices for food and gas are skyrocketing. We are coming to you asking if you would consider making a donation to help with this. Any money donated will go to help feed and provide for the people coming to the Center. They obviously do not know how many people will be coming through, or for how long, but any amount that you might be able to give would be a huge blessing. If there is a surplus of funds, all money will be given to help the Ukrainian people in the best way possible.

If you feel led to give you can donate through the Great Commission Foundation. Go to https://gcfcanada.com/gateway-to-hope-romania/ and designate "Reinhard and Darcey Neufeld - Ukraine Relief”.

We all have been dealing with hard times right now, so please do not feel pressure to give. But if you are looking for a way to help, this is a fantastic way to make a difference in some Ukrainian families or individuals lives right now. I know Mom and Dad would be terribly grateful for the help. God bless you!!
