We hope you are all doing well. Dad and a team were able to take in another load to Ukraine this past week. He says,
"This week a couple of Norwegian brothers joined us to deliver food and supplies to the church in Reni. Then we drove to Odessa to bring medical supplies and medicine to a doctor and the defenders. All of these men are husbands to the women in the Rasa Center and it was wonderful to be with them."
The two vans and a trailer that they brought were packed full (the food and medical supplies value about $16,000 CAD). It is almost impossible to buy diesel or gas in Ukraine right now, so the team brought fuel for the churches to use. It will allow them to be able to deliver food and transport refugees.
Because of the recent bombing in Odessa, they met in a town outside the city to exchange gifts and supplies. The defenders in that area had made a special cake and a certificate that they presented to Dad. He says, "It has my name on it, but it is for all of our supporters who make it possible to help the Ukrainian people." It is a 'thank you' to YOU!
Dad and the team couldn't make these deliveries without the help you have been sending. It may be hard for us to imagine just how impactful our donations are, but hopefully these updates can give you a small picture of how the Ukrainian people are being helped because of you.
